On November 2nd, 2021, in a now-deleted r/MountainDew Reddit post, a user posted images of two Dew flavors featuring VooDEW (2022) alongside its Zero Sugar variant with a canceled Mountain Dew Energy (Dragonfruit Charge), the latter at the time known as "Rise Energy (Dragonfruit Lime)." On October 31st, 2022, VooDewGrim, endorsed by the official Mountain Dew Twitter account, unveiled VooDEW's 2022 Mystery Flavor to be Sour Candy Flavor.
Once you unscramble the text, it reveals to be Sour Candy Flavor. One clue is from the VooDewGrim Twitter account posted a photograph of themself on a table holding a sign, signifying they are a big fan of Fran Casy Dolvuro.
